The National Roofing Trade Union

The National Roofing Trade Union - the non-profitable organization whose basic purposes are:

rendering an assistance to members of the Union in their professional and productive development;
protection the rights and interests of the members, representation of their interests towards national and international organizations and associations;
assistance to the state bodies in technical norms development and standards of industry;
development of industry methodical recommendations, rules and specifications;
creation of uniform information bank on technologies and materials applied in roofing business;
enhancing the prestige of roofing profession.

The National Roofing Trade Union (NRU) - the professional association of all-Russian scale, that carries out the policy of efforts integration the companies, who are engaged in the process of design, construction and maintenance of the roof, as well as manufacturing and selling of roofing materials, tools and equipment and aspires to contribute into the active development of this branch in Russia.

The Union conducts diversified large-scale activity which promotes development of business relations, professional growth and mutually advantageous cooperation of Russian roofing branch enterprises. Also NRU represents Russian roofing industry's interests in The International Federation for the Roofing Trade (IFD).

Activity of the Union:

carrying out of congresses and conferences are devoted to the exchange of experience, studying of progressive technologies and materials, managing of roofing enterprises
working out of technical specifications and recommendations
advisory activity in the sphere of design, construction, maintenance and renewal of roofs
participation in the business programms of exhibitions and forums that fits the profile
creation of databases
conducting research and developmental works
educational activity.

National Roofers Union expresses its deepest gratitude to British National Federation of Roofing Contractors which in this crisis time took pains to voluntarily subsidize the accommodation of British roofers during the World Championship, which will be held in Saint-Petersburg on September 9-11, 2009.
It is extremely pleasant that our British colleagues do understand all the hardships of present situation.
